Goldfinger (1964) is the most memorable classic Bond film for me. Probably because Oddjob is one of the most bad-ass evil henchman of all time.

Bicentennial Man (1999) is an intimate look at the human condition through the life cycle of a domestic robot. Touching performance by Robin Williams and solid story by Isaac Asimov.

Best movie ever.

"Have you ever wondered if there was more to life, other than being really, really, ridiculously good looking?"-Derek Zoolander (Ben Stiller) isn't vain afterall. His friends perish in a "freak accident" involving gasoline,after sipping on their orange mocha frappuchinos. The story of Derek Zoolander,a respected model,centres around a plot where Derek is brainwashed by Mugato to kill the Malaysian Prime Minister who is ending child slave labor, stopping the production of Mugato's clothing range.

Another excellent example of why more Phillip K Dick stories should be made into movies! I loved the great hats, mysterious doors, cool books filled with Shaun Tan like drawings, and the allusions to a higher power. What a great film!

Good old Science Fiction flick, intertwined with philosophical concepts, the kind that makes you think long after you see it and leave you a lasting set of references.

Shot in 1979 it is taken from a book called "Roadside picnic" by Arcadi et Boris Strougatski.

This is a sci-fi film, released in 1997. Take a look at some of the sets:- a room with a spiral staircase, matching the three dimensional structure of DNA, the films major theme is genetics. We have Jude Law as "Jerome Eugene Morrow" (the characters middle name closely resembles "Eugenics" - an applied science aimed at improving the genetic composition of a human population, considered by some to be a Nazi regime)

A movie about the live of famous german DJ Paul Kalkbrenner. Berlin Calling is the best film I have seen last year. Try it out!
