How did I not see this film until now? I love it how everyone loves Ferris. I love it how Ferris anticipates everything and gets away with everything. I love the weird montage scenes and the cheesy musical feel-good float scene. I love the asides to the camera, particularly when it's just an expression appealing for understanding.

I love what this movie says about devoting your life to something as trivial as your job. it's not heavy handed but it is funny. I particularly liked the "glocal" scene.

Who said you needed a high budget to make a good film?

People I respect hate this movie, but I loved it from beginning to end. Beginning in particular, actually.
